Refills on soft drinks

Just a curious question I thought of. I went to Spain 3 years ago and I noticed at fast food restaurants and other restaurants they didn't offer free refills.

So is Mexico like the US and Canada in giving out free refills on soft drinks?

Sometimes? But we typically don't waste our time eating fast food in Mexico even though they are #2 for pizza consumption in the world!

Burger King and Carl´s Jr. give free refills. Some other fast food places and restaurants do also but not all of them.

I know that the restaurant in Costco gives you free refills on many drinks to include diet Pepsi for those of us who are diabetes type two candidates.
