I will be applying for a perminant residence card soon through "Unidad Familiar" I see the income requirement is substationally lower than that of a normal permanent resident, around 7300 pesos a month income or $405 USD
Has anybody gone this route here?

Is your family bond your child that is a Mexican citizen or a wife or husband? Big difference. The $405.00 USD monthly income doesn't make sense to me.

My tie is through a minor mexican child. My income is far above the $7300 monthly peso requirement to qualify for Unidad Familiar. It's calculated at 100x the daily minimum wage of Mexico City, which is 73 pesos. It would be tough to live on this though.
