Setting up automatic payment for CFE-electricity bill?

I have tried this thru our bank-BancomerBBV. Manage to get the phone bill and satv paid. But have never managed to arrange electricity bill. Yes, I can go to the bank and pay it in person and more easily I can pay it here in the village. Have the feeling they are not computerized and so I just double my payment in case I miss one when I am not home.

I don't know about setting it up to pay automatically, but I do pay it online, from banca en linea/pago/productos y servicios. I had a little trouble getting the exact sequence of numbers before it recognized the account. Once you get it done the first time you can "save it" as a frequently paid bill. Then the next time it's really easy, your identifying numbers are already in there. I get my CFE bill online too, because they never bring one here to the house. We live 15 KM out, so I guess that's why they dont bring one.

Wow, that is exciting news for me. I live in Celestun, Yucatan. The bills are stuck in our front gate. Sometimes the dogs eat them. I have a good idea of when they are due and go to our local guy and pay up. Right now we have two houses. Never have seen the bill for the house out of town; so I keep paying twice the bill to keep us connected. If you can do this in Cozumel, then surely I can do it here.

Just get out one of your bills (because you'll need a lot of numbers) and go to www.cfe.gob.mx go to registrate and create a user name and password. Then every month whenever the time comes for your bill to be delivered, go check the website and your new bll will be there. There is even a "hotlink" from there to your Bancomer account.

You can always sign'up with your bank to
pay on line or do i as did last year.
Pre-pay the first 6 months and forget about it!
I was away in Belice & did not have anyone else to
help me out!
