Once you have had your Temporal Residency Visa and wish to renew it after a year, what documents are required by the INM?

Hi David,
First, fill out your application on-line at: https://www.inm.gob.mx/tramites/publico/estancia.html
~ Instructions for the INM Webpage for Visiting Mexico or Moving to Mexico ~

It can save you some time at INM for you to print-out that form when you have successfully completed the form - check your personal information on that form, and take the printed form to INM when you go. ... If you are unable to print the form, BE SURE to write down the "Pieza" number that the website issues you - for INM to be able to pull up your application.

Re other documents: Check with your local INM office:
Many (some? All?) INM offices require that you bring a letter that formally requests what you want. There are example forms of these request letters at: ~ An Example Letter for applying for renewing a Residente Temporal

Some INM offices ask for financial documents when renewing, (proof of personal fiscal solvency) while others do not.
If you are applying for renewal of an RT visa based on being related-to or married-to a Mexican under the "Vinculo Familiar" category, then some INM offices ask for a formal letter from your Mexican spouse/relative verifying/certifying that they still agree to be fiscally responsible for you. ... (other INM offices do not ask for this)

Some INM offices want a comprabante confirming that you are still at the same Mexican address: Recent CFE bill, water bill, etc that is no more than 3 months old. ... (other INM offices do not ask for this)

Many Mex. Gob. offices/processes require a copy of a recent comprabante, so, it's good practice to bring a comprabante with you whenever you go to a govt. office.

Happy Trails,
steve
