Facebook brought me to tears...

by reminding me that TODAY would have been Rolly Brook's 84th birthday. Rest in peace, my friend, we all continue to miss your informed, wise and thoughtful contributions.
I propose we make 20 August ROLLY BROOK DAY!

Tony, I surely support the thought to honor his birthday. I often think of this wonderful, generous soul. I know his 'family' in Lerdo think of him daily and that his 'students' are honoring him today in their own ways.

Viva Le Rolly

I sure miss Rolly. He was one of the best and most interesting person on line for those of us coming to or living in Mexico.
I wish you the best Rolly, where ever you are up there.

I agree, Tony. When Rolly's face popped up on my FB birthday list, it brought me so many memories of my dear pal from Lerdo. I had to stop for a minute or two and send him prayers of gratitude for all he did for all of us--the most important of which, IMHO, was to teach us by his example how to behave on Mexconnect.

We could all hope to be as accommodating and helpful in this life as Rolly and to be remembered as kindly, he was a unique jewel in our community.

Good man. Good heart. Helped me make the move, along with many others here.

He set a standard for how all this should be done.

Hi All,
I have not been spending much time on MC lately so I am shocked and saddened. I agree with my tocayo, lets make a day for Rolly.
