Spanish Schools or private tutors? Puerto Vallarta

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hey i just moved to Puerto Vallarta to learn Spanish. I know its not a place for Total Immersion but I have a job here and am able to live here until October. I was looking at the prices for some of the schools and they were all pretty expensive. Given that I am working in Mexico and getting paid in Pesos. I was wondering if any one knew of any cheaper schools that were also good. Or if for the price it would be more better to get a private tutor and how much would be a fair price for them? My friends help me at work but i am looking to learn a bit more on a more structured atmosphere.

Any help or suggestions would be super appreciated.

Whether or not you find a class or a tutor, you can do a lot of learning for free on duolingo.com online. It is an excellent approach if you will dedicate an hour a day to stay fresh, then practice what you learn with your friends.

Oh, oh!
I just noticed that he posted in April and said that he could live in Mexico until October.
Probably a 180 day tourist permit, which prohibits working in Mexico.
Haven't heard from him since.
Deported???????

Well, I guess getting this new 21" screen still doesn't solve my vision problems. I missed that detail. I also miss reading books, driving, and even scenery as a passenger. Oh well......
