Tortillas Nixtamalizadas / How?

I have made numerous attempts to make tortillas, starting with the corn. I have the corn, lime, and grinder. When I grind the corn, it's tough to push through the grinder and it doesn't come out as finely coursed dough to make into tortillas. When I try putting it through again, it's next to impossible.

I learned in Mexico but nothing was measured and I can't seem to repeat it here in the States.

I followed this chef's steps:
