Does anyone know where I can buy low fire clay in Mexico?

Arcilla or arcilla rojo, fuego bajo?

Do not know. How about asking local potterers etc, as through the local mercado de artesanias, or ask the INAH folks if they would know (perhaps their restorers)?

Hope the local extortionists/cartel types do not bother you there in Tulum (or elsewhre in QR).

Ticul, Yucatan, has a source of low fire clay - used by the pottery industry there.
