Excelsior (Jan. 1) provides us with a list of nationally observed holidays in Mexico in 2015:


Enero

  • Año Nuevo. Jueves 1

Febrero

  • Mexican Constitution Day, originally observed February 5, but to make a long weekend )puente), Monday, Feb. 2

Marzo

  • Birth of Benito Juárez, which is the 21st, observed March 16 to create a l”puente”

Mayo

  • Día del Trabajo. Friday, May 1

Septiembre

  • Independence Day, Wednesday, Sept.16

Noviembre

  • Mexican Revolution Day, “puente” Monday, Nov. 16

Diciembre

  • Christmas, Friday, Dec. 25

Note: In some states, cities, or localities, there may be local holidays as well, including local election days.
