Nuevo Laredo Port of Entry: Temp Vehicle Import

Can't Post | Private Reply
In the online Banjercito Temporary Vehicle Import Permit application form there is a field for choosing a port of entry into Mexico. Among the many choices are International Bridges 1 & 2 as well P. F. Nuevo Laredo. What does "P. F." stand for? What is the difference? Does it make a difference? I have used Bridge 2 in the past in Nuevo Laredo. Are there other International Bridges 1 & 2 elsewhere on the border? Gracias.

From banjercito.com.mx:

"OUR OFFICES AT PUENTE INTL. I & II ARE OPEN 24 HOURS AND OUR OFFICES AT PATIO FISCAL ARE OPEN FROM MONDAY TO SUNDAY FROM 8 AM TO 4 PM."

Thus, "P. F." stands for Patio Fiscal; not to be confused with Policia Fronteriza, Policia Federal, or Puente Fronterizo. Apparently several ports of entries have Patios Fiscal, should you ever be in need of one.

.... and it doesn't matter which name you submit nor which crossing you use after picking one (it appears, as I have picked a couple and used several others without impunity).
