New Restaurant in Ajijic

We visited a new restaurant last week, Monte Cristo, on the western edge of Ajijic last week, and again today, and I have to say it is one of the best new restaurants we have visited lakeside.

The atmosphere is pleasant, with indoor and outdoor seating, the service is terrific, and the food is gourmet. Really. We had the shrimp and cream cheese spring rolls and they were so good. The shish-kabob is excellent. We also have had the salad and fish and chips. All have been prepared with care and served beautifully.

I highly recommend it if you are visiting Lake Chapala. It is right on the Carretera, heading west out of Ajijic, and there is plenty of parking.

Here is a link to a review with some pictures. http://www.lakechapalarestaurantguide.blogspot.mx/...isto-restaurant.html

actualy you can pay less by buying a bottle of wine rather than 5 glasses. Anytime you think you will drink 3 glasses buy a bttle of the wine it is cheaper.

Maybe, it depends of the size of the glasses the restaurant is serving. Many here use very small glasses in which case your guideline is wrong.
