Cabo Corrientes

Has anyone been out to see the small beaches of Cabo Corrientes? I'm looking for information about the area and would like to explore the area but information is scarce. Also wondering if it would be possible to locate/hire a guide who knows the area. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need a guide .... there's so little there. Just drive past Vallarta to El Tuito and head for the beach

Let's start with a map http://vallartainfo.com/.../atv/corrientes.html
Mayto is the best known beach, which couldn't be called 'small', not too easy to get to, which has it's advantages :)
There's a bus every day from El Tuito, leaves from the town square in the afternoon and returns the next morning, so you would have to stay overnight. I would recommend Hotel Rinconcito. about 300 pesos per person per night. Cell 322 175 5277.
If you have transport you could explore further towards the cape itself, while it's still remote, there are plans for a 4 lane highway from Ipala to Corrales!
