I think it is nicely done. If I understand right, the upper part is mostly plastered brick. If you haven't already, you might want to put some kind of sealer on that cement plaster before the serious rains start. I'd also be tempted to stain it adobe color, like they do with stucco in New Mexico.

That's something we plan to do of course. The woman who headed the job (yes a woman, and she brought in her own crew from Guad.) does a lot of house painting as well. Her first coat has a sealer with cement, I believe, that is applied to seal, smooth and fill in those tiny pinholes that often show up in plaster work. The final color coat goes on afterwards. One thing that has made us hesitate is the inevitable wear that will come from workers carrying materials up, but a sealer is a must.

Great job. excellent use of the natural profile of the hillside to compliment the project.

We're doing a few projects in Vallarta with Quad Lock Insulated concrete forms, please feel free to stop down and see how its going. We'll post updates (ala Rolly) online to keep everyone informed.

Charlie looks real good. I was in La Manzanilla for 3 weeks but did not run into you. I am David from Villa Montana up the hill. I was wondering where your lot is in the village. I will be back in June and would like to take a look at the wall and your view in person. You can also check out my construction pictures from 1995
