Fascinating video.
By coincidence, I recently started to read, "Crónicas de mi viaje a México, 1934-1935" by Fernando Chaves, an Ecuadorian author who was invited to visit Mexico in 1934-1935. His book is a collection of short diary entries about social, cultural, political and other interests, published many years later in 1992. It is very interesting reading for anyone interested in those times.

I would have enjoyed it more without the 3 minute tedious opening.

And, perhaps the producer was unaware of it, but the fake intro shows the post-1968 flag (at 3:33), not the one that was flown between 1934 and 1968.

Yes, the film would have been improved by a better/shorter/more accurate intro - as well as maybe some editing of the lengthy bullfight sequence near the end. Still worth viewing, though!

Agreed. Another 1935 home movie of Mexico (specifically Mexico City) is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgvAYyD8xLU

I took Rolly's implied advice and skipped the first 3 minutes. I did enjoy the movie. It was interesting to see what are almost "Mexican cliches" in real life.
