exit to Tonala tianguis frm Mex 90D

In a few weeks we plan to drive from Patzcuaro to Etzatlan, Jalisco, hoping to stop in Tonala on the way for some shopping. We really don't plan on driving into town during the tianguis which is a madhouse, but would like to find the street on which it is held. We took a collectivo from Guadalajara to Tonala for the tianguis a month ago and now want to return to visit one of the shops we found there. It is right on the tianguis street. Hopefully we can zip off the cuota, find the place, make our purchases, and zip right back on the freeway. Anyone out there know the best way to do this? Or do any of you know the name of the main street on which the tianguis is held?
Thanks tons for your help.
Marilyn

There is no exit/overpass off the highway now, the route has been changed so off of 15 follow the signs for Tonala/ bus station about 3 KM before the old exit...you will end up on Ave. Tonala, As you cross the old entrance just past the Periferico is a Pemex that has parking for 20 pesos....I am at the Hotel del Sol in Tonala at this time .......

By the way OP what do you do in Extatlan, I visit quite often...

Thanks both of you for your help. In Chiapas right now with lousy internet connection. Haven't checked the link. Will do more research when internet is better. In Etzatlan we stay at Delia's trailer park, visit ruins, eat at Soki's, wander about. We really like it there.
