Recommendations for Cancer Treatment?

Can't Post | Private Reply
A friend in Queretaro has just been diagnosed with lung cancer which has apparently spread to liver. I don't know more but wonder about experience with quality of care for treatment in Queretaro, or if she needs chemotherapy she should aim to head back to Canada for care. Any recommendations or knowledge of clinical trials for an expat would be much appreciated. sciman at csupomona dot edu

Sciman: Chemo will only add to shorten her life and the quality of her life will be horrible. Most people are scared into chemo poison because there is huge profit to big Pharm. I have lived through cancer which is now going on ten years without chemo or radiation. Was told I had 6 months to live if I didn't have chemo. Not true. Your friend may not have much time left, but at least she can have quality time. There are other options for treatment which may or may not work, but better than being poisoned to death. Just my opinion. Helen
