Albertans moving to the Lake

We have been researching emmigrating from Cakgary to the Lake for several years now and are about to make the move. Find the forum very helpful on many topics.

Have not seen recent threads on "bringing car down". Understand that ideal to keep Alberta car registration and drivers license as long as possible, but also undertand that CCRA considers such things as "ties".

Are there particular cars (manufacturers) that are better represented/serviced in the Ajijic/GDL/PVR/MZT region?

Any suggestions on these, and any other relevant tips will be much appreciated.

There is a thread posted above which addresses that very topic. Also, use the "search Posts" function and you will get several good comments about cars.
