Waco, Texas to Guadalajara and back by bus

Our daughter and 2 grandsons just got back to Texas after 3 plus weeks in Mexico.
They took Greyhound from Waco to Nuevo laredo. Greyhound was clean, spacious, had wifi and electric plug- ins. Only 1 restroom.
The border crossing into Mexico was easy. Bus stops, all get out, the agent filled out all her paperwork. She said it was simple.
In Nuevo Laredo, they transferred to Futura. She said the bus was more comfortable than Greyhound, 2 restrooms, but no wifi or electric outlets.
The bus arrived maybe 30 minutes late in Guadalajara.
The return trip was on Americanos. One restroom, no wifi or electric, not as comfy as others. It was late, and the border crossing was slow.
So they missed their connection on Greyhound in Laredo. Luckily, she found a manager who helped her get back underway and they got home 3 hours late.
Now that she has experience, next time we'll book Greyhound to Nuevo Laredo, then buy a separate ticket from there to Guadalajara on ETN or Futura.
Thanks to all who helped me plan.

Hello sioux4noff,

Sounds like they had quite an educational experience in international travel. One that will certainly stay with them for quite a while. There is nothing quite like international travel for it's educational values that are certainly not taught in schools, north or south of the border.

I am sure they enjoyed their time visiting you and will take back some irreplaceable memories, and certainly a collection of great memories for you also.

Well Done souix4noff, well done.
