All the air ducts are in place and their holes in the roof have been closed up. The plaster guys have done two and half houses. We have finished floors ready for tile in one and half houses. The brickwork for the kitchen cabinets is done in all four houses. We are missing one window and one door frame which Coco has promised to have done on Monday.
We had three days of gentle misty rain this week -- out of season. We were going to seal the roof this week, but the rain beat us. We had only minor leaks, but it did stop the plaster guys from doing the second story ceiling. The weather man says we can do the sealer next week -- I sure hope so.
We are also going to close the access hole we left in the east property wall. Our neighbor has been so kind about letting us use his lot for the past 10 months to store our sand, gravel, bricks, etc. 
Last week I told you that our 76-year old night watchman has been out with a cold and chest congestion. In the past few days he took a turn for the worse, and suddenly died yesterday. We attended his funeral this afternoon.
Rúbin and his wife have been spending the night in the house as the substitute night watchmen. I told you how Rúbin was afraid to stay alone. Now he flatly refuses to stay at all. Rudolfo also refuses. Enrique stayed last night. The other three owner guys have agreed to take turns spending the night until we can get the hole in the wall closed. Then the job site will be secure.
