So, there is no physical phone or phone line needed to the house in the USA. The address is for billing purposes only. The only connection is at the telephone company here, and when the number is dialed, it is forwarded to my physical phone in Mexico. So, what I pay is $39.95 to a phone company here and a DSL line in Mexico. (I assume that hi-speed & DSL are synonymous). How much does a hi-speed line in Mexico cost per month? I also have to HOPE that it available where I will live. Is it true there is about a $600 USD deposit to get a phone? What if there is already a phone line in the house I rent: I will still have to have a hi-speed line installed. This is special cableing, right like fiber-optic? What is the name of the telephone company in the USA that provides this service? I don't guess it matters what state they are in does it?
