How dangerous is to climb El cerro del Tancitaro in this time..

Ok I’m planning to climb this mountain, but one friend told me that on this time of year is pretty dangerous, because it’s snowing up there. But I’m willing to take the risk, please give me some advice, I’m planning to go trough this old road in el Rancho de Tengeran, and I want to know if it’s safe. Thanks for any advise…
