property in Mexico? I am considering buying some land and may want to live in a trailer for a while as I build something more permanent. What are the costs-fees for this? Do I have to register it like converting a car liscense plate to a mexican plates and what visa do I need to do this? My mexican friend in Cuernavaca said he checked at the Texas border and he could bring in something up to $12000 US in value. <p>Thanks in advance, James

I see travel trailers parked permanently and occasionally a mobile home. I'm sure it can be done. Check with a customs broker.
