Wow, Feliz Navidad to you as well - somehow I'd like to think of this "season" in a bit brighter light.

The Christmas season should be celebrated with lots of interest and frivolity, like NOB. Don't make it a doomsday season. Who needs negativity? I don't. I have never been cheated, pickpocketed or robbed in my 11 years here and it's not likely to happen.

It wasn't meant to be negative. I lived in NYC for 20 years and I believe to be forewarned is to be forearmed. I learned to carry my purse a different way and be aware of what is going on around me.

If there is a mustard bandit operating in one of the Guadalajara malls, I stay away from that mall.

It's great that some of us support this very important website. I hope that soon almost all of us will. I know I do not visit it much, but have reported the one robbery/burglary that happened to me I believe in Oct. 2007, and will, of course. do so again, should something ever happen like that again in my neighborhood.

90% of the break-ins here are from late morning thru lunch time till around 3pm. it is not usual to have them in the evening. guess the house was being watched. hope the people can contact the frac police to keep an eye out. when they see a parked car fro say 1/2 hr, w/someone sitting in there, the police should question. unfortunatly they only do if someone calls in.
