Father Gilberto, pastor of San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church
in San Antonio, is welcoming everyone to the parish’s “Family Festival” at
the San Antonio Plaza, 1 block south of the carretera, below Mail Boxes.

The festival, a combined effort of both the Mexican and Expat parishioners,
will feature a variety of music including mariachis, a barbershop quartet, a
children's choir, country and western, and karaoke.

A wide choice of freshly-prepared authentic Mexican dishes, as well as hot
dogs and hamburgers, will be for sale at various booths. Face painting, bingo,
tombola, raffles and a lottery will be some of the featured activities. There
will be fun contests for rebozos, best-dressed, best smile, and other categories.

Admission is free. The only cost is for food and activities which you choose.
Tickets in units of 10 and 5 pesos will be for sale to purchase your choice of
delicious foods and the many activities. Since this is a church-sponsored event, for families and friends to relax and enjoy together, no alcohol will be permitted at the festival.

All proceeds will go towards completion of the church rectory and office.
