Hotel accomodations in Sinaloa

Hi everybody. I am planning my yearly trip again and I will be making some modifications this year. I usually enter mexico through Ciudad Juarez and travel to Guadalajara. On my way back I usually drive the coast through Nogales. This year I plan to reverse the trip and make my entry via Nogales and travel back through Ciudad Juarez. My question is this: I plan to get a hotel in the vicinity of Guasave or Guamuchil but I have never stayed in either city. I did a web search and am leaning toward Guamuchil Motel York rated 4 stars. Keep in mind I have never stayed in any of these hotel or am not familiar with the area. Anybody have any ideas or past experiences with hotels in this area of Guasave or Guamuchil? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am not looking for a fancy place. I am just looking for a nice comfortable safe hotel with secured parking. My past experiences have been at Guaymas (pretty far up north to stay there). I thank everybody for their responses.

I have stayed many times at the Motel York in Guamuchil. It is clean, comfortable and has secure parking. It is very inexpensive and has a nice restaurant and bar. Also swimming pool. I think you have made an excellent choice in this Motel.
