Looking for old friend

Hello, again to MexConnect

I was active in the forum back in 2004-05 and I'm looking for a man I met here who was of help to me. I was planning a novel with a Mexican theme and he gave me advice and got my research off on the right track. However, I got cold feet on the grounds that I'm not Mexican and put the novel aside until this year. It's coming out in a few weeks and I want to thank him in the acknowledgements, but with all my computer changes since then I can't locate our old correspondence and don't remember his name. Perhaps Michael (?). I'm definitely not sure, though.

My username was jilla at the time.

Hope he's still around, or someone who knew us both and can tell me his name.

It's great to be back!

Wow! Can't believe they're still there. Turns out a LOT of members helped me. Looks like the book was almost born here.

I looked at a couple of you old posts and saw that a person whose posting name was jerezano was one of the ones who responded to you. His real name was Melville.... that's close to Michael. Unfortunately jerezano, who in my opinion was a treasure, passed away 'recently'.
