Car Storage

Looking for a place to store my older Mercedes 4Dr. Sedan. The car will have the battery disconnected, be locked, and have a car cover tied down once parked. Preferred location would be in or near Chula Vista, in someone's secure garage or carport. Have stored this car and others in unprotected (not covered) areas at public and private facilities in past years with unsatisfactory results. So am looking for someone who has a little extra room at their home behind a gate or door with a roof overhead and is willing to rent the space from the end of August to the end of June, 2013 for a fixed price. The car may be removed in April or May, but we will honor the fixed price. Please send an email to kdutch@cox.net. Will pay cash in full in Pesos prior to storage with signed agreement to the above.

Thanks for the prompt reply...I have looked at S & S in the past, but the car would still be in the open, exposed to the sun. Also don't like the idea of it being "exposed" to customers or others that come in and out of the business during the day (had another car that was vandalized in a similar kind of facility). Am really looking for a private residence where it can sit quietly in a corner and be untouched.

If all else fails, the La Floresta self storage, next to Domino's pizza, place has spaces big enough for vehicles.

La Floresta Storage charges $1500 pesos per month for a 10' x 10' x 20' garage. Very secure with a 24/7 guard. They are excellent to deal with. You may be able to negotiate a reduced rate for longer terms.
