Mexconnect is a forum for expats in Mexico, not for Mexicans wanting to move to the US, so I doubt many posters here would be able to help you. I, for one, have no idea what an i-129f or a k1 visa is.

How about the US Embassy in Mexico City. Look at http://travel.state.gov/...ypes/types_2994.html

In my case they did mail us the approval notice with further info regarding the interview,it took about 4 months from when I applied till we got notification,by that time Ciudad Juarez had turned into a war zone so we took a pass on that and got married here in Guadalajara,
But if you want the fiancee visa you have to go to the US consulate in Ciudad Juarez, even though Homeland Security has been advising US cititzens to avoid traveling to Ciudad Juarez for years, why they couldn't have issued us this visa at the large US consulate here in Guadalajara located 20 minutes from our house I have no idea.

A few years ago, a official from the Embassy came to Xalapa for a meeting of expats. He said that they moved the issuing office to Juarez because that was the area of the country where most of those who wanted a visa lived. They were closer to Juarez than to Mexico City or even Guadalajara or even Monterrey!
