I really don't care but I was tired of that other thread and how it quickly turned into nothing more than a pizzing contest.

As you were....

What hasn't changed?

The weather.

And a presence of clueless foreigners.

But those are just guesses since I wasn't here 15 years ago.

We still have internet (just don't ask me if the speed has changed). We still have satellite TV (just don'd ask about Satellite dish size), we still have beer, they are still growing pot in the mountains, the lake level still keeps going up and down, we still have phone, electricity and water service (I won't mention that it's much more reliable here) I'm still here (not 4 months per year but 8 months per year).

I could go on. And just maybe we had Mexconnect back then, I can't remember

How many posters were here 15 years ago and therefore eligible to comment?
Since I haven't been here that long, I probably shouldn't have commented on the other thread........but the negativity got to me. Mea culpa.

Yes, MexConnect was right there, even 15 years ago. [Surely it has ALWAYS been there, from the very beginning of time?]

Yes, I'm sure it has been there since time immemorial. And some of its members, as well.

yes. if you were not here, than why comment? changes sometimes ARE negative. that thread was for people who were her between 15 yrs & 35 yrs ago. (it was "not" about personal happiness or attitude). i started it to discuss more global issues. anyway, there are still many trees where i live, so that the same. but who knows? parking lots may put an end to that. but for now, the trees are here.
