Can the auto permit be renewed at the airport immigration or anywhere in Guad?

You probably need to give a bit more information. For example, if you have an FMM and a TIP (temporary Import Permit), the TIP cannot be "renewed" anywhere. If you have an FM-3 (yes, old name) that's another answer.

When I first entered Mexico, I had an FMT for 60 days and so was the TIP, I got the FMT extended to the maximum of 180 and then drove to the Aduana in Veracruz where I got a new TIP good to the last day on the FMT.

If your visa is current, even if you renewed it, all of your belongings, including your vehicle are legal here in Mexico.

FM-2
Paid the $4000 pesos. Immigration says the permit must be renewed 15 days before the FM-2 expires if I want my deposit back.
