Where to find quality hiking boots

A quick search of the archives indicate that quality hiking boots are hard to find in this country. Has anyone had any luck? I live in Morelia and would travel to Guadalajara or D.F. or ?? if need be.

Linda, have you looked in the Morelia Páginas Amarillas?
It lists Sears as having sporting goods.

Yes, I would definitely need to try them on unless I found the same brand in the same size as I am currently wearing. A friend who is coming to Mexico soon has offered to bring down a pair and I may order the same brand/same size online. Thanks for the suggestions. Still plan to check out Sears.
