I'd say it's a variation of "quien mal anda, mal acaba." "malogra" means "to waste (oportunity), to spoil" also read of a bullfighter "malogrando" (wasting) the bull with his sword. so, "quien malogra, mal acaba." can be translated to "he who wastes, ends up losing." You might've heard the other one ("no te lo creas, ni tu mismo.") wrong. Should be "no te lo crees, ni tu mismo." = "Not even you believe it." It's kinda redundant if it's "creas" - "don't believe it, not even you." HTH Rey
