It just hit me as I am renewing my existing car license and registration from another state to Texas state license and registration. I have kept my same Mexican Permit sticker on the window. I have changed my car plates, and registration. I have also kept the original states plates and I have a copy of the former states registration. My question is, what to do about my car permit on the window? (Yeah, I know. . . . . . . fine time to think about it! HA) Has anyone had such an experience as this in the past, if so, what was the correct thing to do? I do not really wish for my bank account to be hit with another permit charge. What do you think? Do I quietly drive back to my state of Queretaro and go to the local Aduana office and make changes or change the information at the border Aduana Permit Office when I cross? Or is there any necessity in changing it at all? I would think some modification would be necessary, but since everything seems to go off the VIN, I am thinking it may only be necessary to provide additional information on my new Texas registration & license, but I really don’t know. Anyone experienced in this kind of thing? Thanks robt65
