Mexican road maps are made in Mexico by Guía Roji

In the USA or Canada it is easy to find good, up-to-date road maps of those countries, but this is not true of Mexico. All the road maps of Mexico that I have seen for sale in the USA are inadequate, inaccurate and out of date. By far the best Mexican road maps are made in Mexico by Guía Roji. They make a huge variety of maps -- country, state and city maps as well as an atlas which I use.

What is Garmin BaseCamp?
BaseCamp is a program that can be used to create routes and waypoints, send these to your GPS, and receive tracklogs (containing the tracks you have followed). Main uses are that you can prepare and analyze routes on your computer instead of the small GPS screen and organize your planned routes.

Apple signed TomTom for mapping services, and is apparently jettisoning Google Maps, to set up a potential collision between the two industry giants. The deal between the media giant and TomTom came after Apple rolled out mapping options for its new operating system at a conference in San Francisco.

Alternative battery for Garmin nuvi 205W
Hi I am an Australian in Vietnam and my Garmin nuvi 205W battery went down. As you can imagine you can not buy a Garmin battery here so I did some researching and found no alternatives on the net. I took the battery out and went looking at the mobile phone shops in town. Found that the Nokia BL-5J is a perfect match. It fits the Nokia 5230 / 5800 / C3-00 / N900 / X6 it has 1320mha and 3.7v. Exact same size and only cost US $3 and re soldering the contacts on the new battery was done for free in the store. Works like a charm. I hope this helps some else out in the future.

The video shows how to re soldering the contacts on the new Nokia BL-5J battery.
