traveling highway 15D

We are planning on traveling from Nogales, AZ to Topolobampo to catch the ferry to La Paz. Can we do this is one day as the ferry leaves around 11 pm and what advice would you give us.

I cross the border at 6AM, am finished with FMM and Vehicle Permits by 7AM
and passing Topolobampo around 4:30 PM so I guess if all your papers were in order and they had room you should be able to make it...And if you miss the boat you could drive on to Mazatlan and take the other one...good luck
