This video was on 4 TV news shows [national news] yesterday including at least one of our local TV channels [at least] in San Luis Potosi. It only came out yesterday and possibly you are the first to post it here. It is funny the article only states western Mexico when Lagos de Moreno is in Central Mexico

According to Tomas Coronado the Jalisco prosecutor the victims had no ties to organized crime.

The TV news stated it was a lawyer, his assistant and a client that were in Lagos de Moreno to collect the rent due on a farm there.

Of course they had no ties with any criminal organizations. The corrupt police went into the hotel with a list and asked the clerk where are the choir boys? :-) :-)

I am not surprised it is not reported here... too many people with head in sand syndrome, watching their property prices drop.

As for the police going into the hotel and going after known criminals... I think they probably went looking for victims.. someone who could afford to pay a ranson.

Good grief.

But where did you get the notion that property prices were dropping? This would be not be the case, in general.

The TV news reports in Mexico stated the police took them and handed them over to the "group" that wanted them, for whatever reason and it was not clear what that reason was.

If you folks would check your posts, you'd be able to see when the QUOTE function fails to work, which is often.
