Jalapeno/cheese tortas from Joco mercado

Not much of a recipe I'm sure but I used to love those things Saturday mornings if they weren't gone.

Just wondered what kind of cheese (or crema) and anything special mixing in the jalapenos

OK ... forget Joco. If you were gonna make a spread of cheese and jalapeno to slather on a torta with a consistency of soft cream cheese ... how would you make it

It could be requeson or simply crema fresca which is sometimes very thick like butter. Or both.

Or you could buy Philadelphia cream cheese untable.

No Philadelphia ... but Bennie gave me something to start with. I imagine it as mixed the night before and let sit in the fridge for flavor to move a little.

These tortas were thinner than our local fat ones but I'll assume that does not make a difference
