You have a macabre sense of humour Steve - and I will rise to your bait. This is probably an urban legend by the way. This wanders off path to New York City. An old woman is found dead in a low rent apartment building, don't worry, she has died of natural causes, but there has been a lot of 'seepage' because of the nature of her illness and the long time before discovery. The mattress is soaked with an evil rot. In disposing off the mattress, it splits open and guess what - it has been stuffed with over $60,000 in now well tainted bills! The Treasury Dept is brought in - what to do - they decide to wash the bills and re-release them into public distribution. The next time you see movie like "Scarface" (well OK - i have seen it 4 times) remember the scenes where they are snorting their cocaine through a U.S. bill! No wonder people are heading towards a 'cashless' society.
