Hotels between MZO and Laredo

"Traveling to Laredo from Manzanillo later this month and looking for overnight accomodation.

I know about the 3 good ones in Matahuala but that is a bit far on our first day from MZO.

Any suggestions? Thanks"

San Luis Potosi. You only lose a few miles [about45 miles or so] shorter taking the cuota cut off on the 57 north and are in a secure place just under 2 or so hours of Matahuala. 57 close to EL Centro is Zona Hotelaria. The 57 libre north is right there and never has traffic and is a fast way out of town.
