cool graphics how to

First thing you have to do is find out where the "cool graphic" lives on the internet. For instance, one of my favorites is the colorful bouncer. His address is :

to get him to appear in my text I click on the box that says switch to basic editor (if the green screen isn't already your default) then clic "code", edit the word code to say "image", paste in the address after the brackets, clic "code again, this time it will include a slash, edit to say "image" (don't delete the slash) then the graphic will appear when you post :

You can find cool graphics by using a search engine or alternately you can steal(borrow?) any graphic you come across by right clicking on the graphic and selecting "properties", its address will be revealed.
I use them too much, it aggrivates some folks, kinda like disco lights cause some to flash-back to 'Nam.

Some sites encourage linking to their gifs, others consider them artistic property and require permission to use them. If you don't get permission then what can they do about it? Well, THEY are in control of the site that you link to and they can change the image to something quite embarassing without telling you, thats what!
