Suggestions for Honneymoon.

Hello, my fiance and I are getting married in November 2012 and are looking for a place to go on a honeymoon. After getting numerous quotes from travel agents I have been able to narrow down my choices to the following. We have never been out of the US and would really like to go somewhere with a nice beach and would like to go snorkeling. We would also like for there to be entertainment available as well. We aren't too picky just would like to stay somewhere very nice. Thanks!

What things do you two enjoy doing together?

What expectations do you have for things that would make a good miel de luna?

Do you plan to party late into the madrugada, sleep in, and bake out any hangover by lying in the sun the following day?

Do you want to snorkel or dive or go fishing?

Do you want to take fun day-trips to 1,000 year old Maya ruins or to beautiful island(s) ?

Is shopping part of a good vacation ?

Do you expect to stay at a place with lots of scheduled group activities - or sit on the beach and read books ?

Do you want all-inclusive experiences or do you like to be more independent ?

Since you mentioned snorkeling you'll want to go to the Carribean coast. Akumal is very nice, had superb snorkeling, and is close to some superb Mayan ruins.

I think Thailand has the most beautiful beaches and culture, it would be your best choice for honeymoon.
