Fire at Bosque de la Primavera

I'm sort of surprised that this has not been posted......

According to the Denver Post wire services, datelined Mexico City.

"The Nation's largest big-city forest park has been devastated by a fire that officials say was set by squatters seeking to take over land, and worsened by the presence of armed gangs trying to scare off firefighters. The fire has consumed 18,500 acres, or about a quarter of the Preserve as of Wednesday."

What is the local view of this story?

Or do you mean the circumstances under which the fire started, the motivations behind that and subsequent actions, and how an investigation into those details may or may not go, etc.?

It's a big, bad fire and an even bigger story. Apparently.
