Jack Bennet Gringo Cristero

I am looking for any info regarding Jack Bennet who passed away circa 1983. As a teenager I met Jack in CA around 1981. He awed me with his incredible stories as a Mexican charro and his participation as I guess the only Gringo Cristero. He had photos and relics of the time to proove it. He was married to Litka Bennett a dance teacher from Hungary or Bulgaria (can´t remember) who had a ballet studio in Guadalajara. His compadre was some charro call José El Coyote.

By chance, I just came across a reference to a "Jack Bennet and wife" who attended an art exhibit at the Villa Montecarlo in Chapala in November 1944.
Other than that, I know nothing about him, but would be interested to hear more if anyone has additional information.
