Tremors in Joco

Today we experienced a short tremor followed by a much longer shaker. Lights swung back and forth and the house was in motion. All gentle and we had no damage.

A big zero compared to the tremor from the Colima quake about 7 - 8 years ago.

Gee, if these are going to become a regular eventos, maybe I'll have to check into earthquake detectors for the weather station, I know some guys in other countries have them.

The more I thought about it, the better it sounded, so a bit of research found Quake-Cather Network http://qcn.stanford.edu/ where you can get a sensor and join the network. And, no one is close to our end of the world, I think we'll pursue it and see what happens.
