hotel in Mazatlan on the highway

Driving from PV to Nogales on April 17th . Will be staying in Mazatlan and would rather not go into town. Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay on the highway with secure parking?

I drove your route about a month ago, there was lots of construction and detours along the highway, it was easier to shoot down for the first Playas
sign and stay along the malecon...I stayed at the high rise Hotel Hacienda,
8th floor with a wonderful view,secure parking and a promotion about 600
pesos the night......good luck

There are also some fairly new "no-tell" motels on the south side of town, near the airport. They are usually very clean, secure and inexpensive. Very easy on & off the highway.
Not very scenic but not sure what you are looking for in the way of accommodations.

THE EASIEST IS AN INTERSECTION ON Km 7, MAZATLÁN TO CULIACÁN, SIGN SAYS "PLAYAS MAZATLÁN".
IT IS VERY EASY GETTING THERE, ABOUT 3 km AND YOU LAND NEXT TO SEVERAL NEW, TOP HOTELS.
