Another temblor!

This was one was not anywhere near as bad as the one on March 20, but it did set my ceiling lamps to swaying, and that nauseous feeling in my stomach is now becoming all too familiar! It was 6.3 on the Richter scale: http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/notas/839453.html .

At first blush, the report was that it was a new earthquake. Now the seismologists are saying it was an aftershock of the 7.4 earthquake two weeks ago--at 6.3, the strongest aftershock yet but still within normal range.

These things rearrange my inner ear and cause the nausea you mention. The earth can stop moving like this any old time, as far as we are concerned!

Whether it was an aftershock or another quake, I'm just glad it's over, for the moment, at least!

One good thing about the nausea is that it helps me distinguish between a temblor and a large truck coming down my street, which can also make my building shake quite a bit.
