Como se dice "Granite tile"?

Any suggestions how to say "Granite Tile" in spanish? Like the 12"x 12" type.
How would you describe or ask for "Bullnose" on the granite tile?

So far I've tried "pedazos cuadrados de granito" for the tile, but it's hard to pantomime the bullnose and I'm trying to ask questions via email.

azulejos de granito. Most of the ads I see in Spanish are for Chinese granite and they say bullnose (los bordes bullnose)

edge = canto
round over (bullnose) = boleado

canto boleado

Others are canto plano or recta, pecho de paloma, chafán etc

Thank you sparks and Bennie Garcia. The masons building our casa here in Baja Sur use the terms "ceramica" for countertop tile and "vitropiso" for floor tile, no matter what the tiles are made of so I wasn't sure how to ask for granite tile. Sounds like their terminology is their own interpretation.

For bullnose tile they told me to ask for "zoclo" which seemed to confuse people. I can see where zoclo/baseboard tile may have a bullnose edge, but when I asked for zoclo in granite for a countertop it really confused vendors and people at the marmoleras.

Our local albiniles call the bull nose: " paloma " - short for " pechuga de paloma "

I'd bet that the terminology varies across the Spanish speaking world.

Pecho de paloma is ogee in English. Different from bullnose. And the edge on tile such as used for zoclos is called media caña. Also different from bullnose as it is only rounded on one edge.

This is what I was referring to and a better term is probably surface bullnose- is this Media caña?

As I proposed above, different terminologies are used in different areas of the Spanish speaking world.
Our albañiles call this pechuga de paloma.

The above link contains a picture of a counter top with an ogee edge, from the same website of the bullnosed tops pictured in another post. This is what is known throughout the Spanish speaking world as "pecho paloma". This is an architectural term used in moldings and edge treatments of all sorts of different materials including wood, glass and stone of many types. In my cabinet and millwork shop I have ogee router and shaper cutters known as "pecho paloma" in Spanish.

If one were to Google "pechuga de paloma" it will return links to recipes for dove/pigeon breasts.

You know your stuff Bennie,my exterior walls have a brick " pecho de paloma" detail that I like,they also have "ojos de buey"made from cantera and decorative glass.An important part of preparing "pechugas de paloma" is to remove all the bird shot.
