How seriously can one take "security experts" who weren't even capable of securing their own website?

I don't know about security issues with their website but the report will at least inform anyone who reads it about who the players are. Their overview of Northeast Mexico seems pretty accurate in my opinion.

And if anyone cares, we had a pretty significant incident in Nvo. Laredo on Friday afternoon that kept things a little tense over the weekend. Anyone who took the Colosio loop around Nvo. Laredo around 4 pm on their way to/from Bridge II got a glimpse of the real thing.

Not surprising you were unaware, but if you live in an affected area eventually you will see something unsettling or worse.

The balacera took place in front of Parque Viveros, just up the hill from Colosio and very popular with families. The city zoo is located there. Military and federal police units were patrolling in force over the weekend but as far as I know nothing else significant happened.

OK I know exactly where this occured which makes it really bad since so many families use this area for recreation. I checked all of the media I could think about Sat. morning and afternoon. Nada.

My next question is what do you do when you are caught is something like this..........

Yes even if you don't live in one of the most impacted areas you do see things and you don't say anything. You also learn not to ask questions.

However an actual fire fight I really have no clue.

That said when we walked up on a SWAT drug bust in NorthWest Hills in Austin we did not miss a beat. Our friend who was watching it from her window phoned us and we just said "Hi" to the police, parked the car and went into her house. The people had been arrested and the team was just talking about the next place they were heading. That did not make any media at all.

However a fire fight is an another subject.
