Anyone have contact info for Carol?

  | Private Reply
I do not know her last name, but she worked for several years with Larry Allen at Nacho's Trash and Treasures, just south of the Ajijic Casino. Thanks, fug

Got the number and we are making progress in finding the killer of Lsrry Allen, even though Rolly, in his finite wisdom, chose to shut the thread down and then insult me with a private message. fug

Better to be insulted in a PM than on an open forum. Just saying!

Larry John Allen, owner of Nacho's Trash and Treasures was definitely killed approximately January first of this year. We all have the same suspect in mind, but would appreciate any insight from others as the police are ignoring the death of this expat who lived here for over ten years. The family would also like to recover his body Thanks, fug

You stated, in part, "... was definitely killed.... How was this determined? I heard that he was missing, possibly still alive, and living in the general area. It was opined that perhaps he just left his debts behind, took his antiques, and may be living off the sales of them. All is conjecture but there must not be evience enough for the police to get heavy footed in their investigation.

Sorry, I have already said more than I should and am now in contact with a couple of folks that were there. I can say no more, as these folks are fearful and I want to protect their identities. No more responses from me on my post. fug

His neighbors said he died, has been cremated and the death is being investigated possibly because the body wasn't found for awhile.

Intersting since no funeral home has any records of a death or cremation. Nor does the consulate who has him listed as missing. But then getting informaton from the internet is at best unreliable. Perhaps his neighbor can be more in detail such as where he was cremated, etc.

You called every funeral home in the Lakeside-Guadalajara area? What little funeral home around here puts information on a web site especially on the South side of the lake?

You were also able to talk to the consulate and you were told he is missing? I don't know why but I find that hard to believe. I know that SS is notified if someone dies by whoever is in charge of doing the notifications for the deceased but I didn't know the consulate was also.

A neighbor of his said he was found dead in the house, has been cremated. and the death is being investigated. It's a small neighborhood. Why not call the police in Tuxcueca because Puerto Corona is in their jurisdiction and they would have been the police who would have responded. You might also call funeral homes in that municipality or check their web sites.

I reported what I heard. I have no dog in this hunt. I also heard his antiques, of some noted value, are missing. It is all rumor, including the neighbor's supposed comments. I care not. Save your sarcasm for someone who cares.

Upon further questioning the neighbor of Larry's is now saying that he doesn't know if anyone saw the body. He said some of the landlady's property is missing such as her washer and dryer.

I should have known to ask him more questions after he has steered me wrong more than once. The last time it cost me a few hundred dollars after he promoted a facilitator to me to renew my FM3. The office then was located close to Banamex in Joco. I was overcharged for the FM3 and charged a late fee because she/he didn't pay the fee on time. When it came time to have his FM3 renewed, he got a quote from him/her and used someone else. Making the foreigner pay a late fee is common with this facilitator because it is paid to the bank at the last minute which is usually too late. This year I did my own and saved money.

My stupidity for trusting the information from someone who has never been right yet.
