Which is your favorite vivero and why?

I used to love the one at the eastern entrance to Jocotopec, but now that there are a gazzillion topes between my place and there, I have stopped going. I am now going to the one just to the west of telmex in Ajijic. Owner speaks English and their plants are very healthy. Unfortunately, I was looking for an ave de paradiso yesterday and she said she would not have them for at least two weeks. Any suggestions? Thanks, fug

The vivero in SJC always has some of the nicest flowering plants. Especially at Christmas, their Poinsettias are really nice. The Vivero you're going to across from El Torito has the best flowering plants in Ajijic.

Just check other nurseries for Birds of Paradise, except for Flora Exotica (overpriced).

I do not have a favorite, they are all very good at having a slightly different selection of plants so I go where I can find what I am looking for. I like the geranium of the place in Jocotepec, go to the place near Telmex for waterlilies or pansies and Exotica for plants , bushes or tree that are not easy to find.
